Over the past eight months, we’ve been working hard to support and inspire our customers and to showcase the benefits of the services we offer.
As a result of these efforts, our combined portfolio encompasses:

Team Expansion
With an original team of 5 dedicated employees, we’re proud to announce that our team is now 22 strong, with some amazing talent being brought on board over the last couple of years.
From the recent appointment of our new Land Director, Jamie Trott to an onboarded Projects Director, David Lyons and a number of additional commercial team employees, the face of our organisation is changing, and we’re changing with it. With more employees comes more diversity, more collaboration and more perspective on the work we do, helping us to better support our clients and our customers with their ambitious projects.
As we scaled up our team, we’ve also been developing a core management team to help support our employees, lead our projects and create a cooperative structure at the heart of CEC. With some important announcements yet to be made, we encourage you all to ‘watch this space’ to find out more about our new management team in the coming months!

Accreditations and Achievements
Earlier this year, you may have seen that we celebrated a win at the 2023 Start-Up Awards, being awarded Green Start-Up of the Year! This is a great achievement for our small business and we were extremely honoured to be nominated.
Furthermore, our very own CEO Alex Goodall has also been nominated and shortlisted for Entrepreneur of the Year at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2023, with the awards being held in November - so keep your fingers crossed!
Our Plans for The Future
With so many exciting updates from the year so far, we’re ready and motivated to see what comes next. We have detailed plans to continue growing our excellent team and recruiting further talent to join our existing office - so once again, keep your eyes peeled!
Our main plans over the next year include further team growth, beginning to deploy capital into the construction of our first projects in development, as well as expanding our client list into new markets and industries around the world.
This expansion will also allow us to diversify our portfolio and offer additional products and services to businesses beyond the UK who are looking for more sustainable solutions for their organisations.
